Cy Pres Awards
Cy Pres awards help underwrite the vital programs and services we provide to our low-income clients. If you, your firm, or someone you know is party to or counsel on a class action case involving potential cy pres awards, you can nominate Public Counsel as an awardee.
Awards can be accepted to benefit our general work, or can be designated to a specific practice area: Homelessness Prevention, Immigrants’ Rights, Children’s Rights, Veterans Rights, Women and Girls’ Rights, Consumer Law, and Community Development. Public Counsel can qualify for awards in a large variety of cases because we work in many substantive law areas and on a wide array of issues. Check out our brochure for more info:
