Is a Reverse Mortgage Right for Me? 10/16/2024
A reverse mortgage is a special type of home-secured loan that is available to older homeowners. This video from Public Counsel provides an overview of reverse mortgages and issues to consider before applying, including the fact that you are responsible for property taxes, homeowners insurance, other property charges, and maintaining your home. What happens when the homeowner is unable to meet those terms of the reverse mortgage loan and alternatives to a reverse mortgage will also be discussed.
