Small Business Legal Services

Overview
Explore Sections

Public Counsel’s Community Development Project supports small businesses because of the important role they play in offering pathways to financial independence and economic justice for the clients we serve. The small businesses we work with—businesses that contribute to the cultural vibrancy and diversity that Los Angeles is known for—face systemic barriers but also demonstrate incredible resilience and contribute to the economy by creating jobs and pathways to financial strength for our communities.

Legal services that we offer include advice regarding choice of entity, commercial leasing, contracts, intellectual property (patents, trademark, and copyright), employment law,  and debt negotiation.
