Saddia Khan is a supervising attorney at Public Counsel, where she leads Cancer Justice (formerly the Cancer Legal Resource Center), a nationwide program providing legal support and resources to individuals and families impacted by cancer, with direct services focused in California. Her work centers on employment protections, disability rights, immigration, insurance access, housing stability, and consumer protections, with an emphasis on practical, plain-language legal resources and scalable service models.
Saddia has extensive experience in litigation, disability rights, immigration, and consumer protection, with a background that spans nonprofit and private practice. She is licensed to practice law in California and received her J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.
She is deeply committed to advancing health equity and ensuring that legal systems respond effectively to the realities faced by people navigating serious illness. Through partnerships, policy-informed advocacy, and direct service, Saddia works to strengthen legal protections for individuals and families impacted by cancer.
Outside of work, Saddia finds joy and perspective in time with her family and in the great outdoors.
