Public Counsel’s 23rd annual Run for Justice brought together hundreds of supporters from across the legal community and beyond for a powerful morning of fundraising, fitness, and purpose. This past weekend, in conjunction with the LA 5K run/walk, Charity Half Marathon, and ASICS Los Angeles Marathon, runners, walkers, and teams once again showed up to support justice.
More than 450 participants across 38 teams signed up to support Public Counsel—and together, they have raised over $145,000 to sustain our life-changing legal services and advocacy.
We are deeply grateful to the participants, team captains, sponsors, and supporters whose generosity, energy, and commitment made this year’s Run for Justice such a success. Their collective effort made the event an inspiring celebration of community and philanthropy. Support from events like Run for Justice helps drive Public Counsel’s work to advance civil rights and racial and economic justice, provide vital legal services, and challenge the unjust systems that harm our communities.
We’re also not done yet. There is still time to help us cross the finish line. Our goal is to raise $175,000, and every additional gift brings us closer.
Thank you to everyone who participated, fundraised, and supported this year’s Run for Justice. Together, your dedication and generosity made this event a moving reflection of what’s possible when our community comes together to advance justice.
