As Los Angeles faced catastrophic wildfires and escalating federal immigration enforcement, Public Counsel responded with urgency—providing direct legal help, community education, policy advocacy, and impact litigation to protect people in moments of fear and uncertainty. At the same time, we secured major victories for unhoused veterans, tenants, immigrant communities, students, consumers, families, and small businesses.
