Isaac Filat (he/him) is a Justice Catalyst Fellow with the Opportunity Under Law Project at Public Counsel. His fellowship is focused on protecting the data privacy of California’s immigrant communities through novel litigation strategies and public advocacy. Isaac has also worked on a wide variety of issues at Public Counsel, including voting rights and education equity. Prior to law school, Isaac worked as an immigration paralegal and barista in Washington, D.C.
Isaac has a B.A. from Hendrix College and J.D. from New York University School of Law. In his free time, he enjoys biking, hiking, and supporting Borussia Dortmund.
