This guide is for individuals who wish to file a complaint with the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (“DFPI”), regarding their PACE (“Property Assessed Clean Energy”) assessment. This guide is for complaints made in regards to the conduct and business practices of PACE Administrators in California.1 These PACE Administrators include: PACE Funding Group, Renovate America (HERO), Renew Financial (California First), YGRENE, and FortiFi (formerly known as E3 or Energy Efficient Equity).
