EVENT UPDATE: Rescheduling the date of the William O. Douglas Award Dinner

UPDATE, 1/22/24: We have successfully rescheduled our William O. Douglas Award Dinner for Sunday, February 25th, 2024, at the elegant Beverly Wilshire, A Four Season’s Hotel.

–>MORE INFO: CLICK HERE.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE, 10/10/23: Public Counsel is rescheduling our William O. Douglas Award Dinner, currently scheduled for Thursday, November 2, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Many of you are likely aware that UNITE HERE! Local 11 is calling for a boycott of the Beverly Hilton and other Los Angeles area hotels. We stand with hotel workers, and because there has been no resolution, we made the decision last week that we will not host our event at the Hilton this year.

We will keep you informed when the dinner is rescheduled. We look forward to welcoming you, our guests, and our honorees, Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi, Mattel, Inc., and Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP at a date in the new year.

While we understand the significance of this postponement, we remain deeply excited and committed to celebrating the tireless efforts and commendable achievements of our honorees, clients, and community. The spirit and energy of the William O. Douglas Award Dinner has always been driven by our incredible community, and it will shine even brighter when we come together again. Our team is working diligently to find a new date to ensure this event remains the festive and uplifting celebration it has always been. Your support and patience mean the world to us, and we cannot wait to share an unforgettable evening with you soon!
